GPT-6 is a family of large language models (LLM) developed by American artificial intelligence firm OpenAI. GPT-6 Astra was released to the general public on September 4, 2026, while GPT-6 Sol and GPT-6 Luna were released on September 22, 2026. On October 7, 2026, GPT-6 Instant was released to paid users, featuring an "Intelligent UI" that includes interactive widgets with answers. This was released to free users a day later.
