At least 9 killed in a UPS plane crash near the Louisville airport

Officials in Louisville, Ky., say nine people were killed yesterday when a UPS cargo plane that was trying to take off caught fire and exploded in a fireball. Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear said the McDonnell Douglas MD-11 was bound for Honolulu with about 38,000 gallons of jet fuel on board. The National Transportation Safety Board will lead the investigation.
