The Sorbs are a Slavic ethnic group that still live inside Germany's borders and speak the Slavic Sorbian languages. They might also have had their own country, or perhaps been moved into the newly-independent Czechoslovakia in the heady days after the end of the Second World War when the victorious Allies sat around the table and carved up the map of post-war Central and Eastern Europe.
